Wills plays an eclectic mix of country, folk, southern rock, bluegrass favorites as well as original compositions. His performance has the sound of a live band.From John Denver to ZZ Top, along with his original songs there is something to please everyone. Wills has been playing professionally for over 30 years in bands and in a duo as well as solo throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
Wills teamed up with Dennis Frisby and formed "Some Assembly Required" in Okla. City, then they performed as a duo "Frisby & Wills". James was in several road bands in the 80s and early 90s having played warm up for several major label artists, and was in several local bands around the Ok City, Ok area, and in Texas.
